-Frolicking-
Aside from writing, Denise also dabbles in amateur photography, screwing with her website, supporting human rights & exploring the planet.
-Living-
Growing up in a rustic mining town sparked a lifelong quest for adventure. She was lucky enough to do two study-abroad stints at the University of Picardie in Amiens, France, where she toured châteaus, sampled wonderfully robust cheese, and was invited over for a cassoulet de boef by two very nice French ladies. Denise also lived in the Czech Republic for a while where she taught English, spent too much time at Internet cafés, developed a freaky addiction to Nescafé and marveled at the various cuts of pork in the market.
